Gears In Motion – Episode 10

Increasing #diversity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (#STEM) does not occur outside of the context of mentorship. Listen in as Regine and Michael continue interviewing James Jackson as he speaks to how he scaled an effective STEM program with 4 to nearly 70 interns a year in less than 10 years. James explains how organizations latch on to leadership over programs. James talks through his upbringing, his start as a volunteer wanting to “pave it forward”, and how he personally works and partners in his mentor mindset using netweaving, listening, service, and tools.
